Berisha: We support every protest, but we do not take responsibility, Rama

DP leader Sali Berisha has spoken about the protest that has been taking place for 4 days in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Berisha told the media, outside the Parliament, that the opposition supports every citizen protest, but will not take responsibility for anyone.

"For every protest! For every protest, period! Don't discuss it. But we are not the ones who take on another's protest. We never do that! There is a morality. There is a morality, right? We too, in any case, you have never seen us go out, absolutely support every protest of every citizen, but we do not take responsibility for it. Because this is immoral. This is immoral. We are following him, if he goes and holds an anti-rally in Vlora, he will confront us there. Because this is the red line. He crosses every line there," said Berisha.

Asked about the meeting that Rama will hold in Vlora on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party, Berisha said that the people of Vlora will not allow him to organize an anti-rally.

"The citizens will show him in Vlora how he will face it! I tell him not to move because this is shameful. He does not move with a rally, an anti-rally. This is what Ramiz Alia did, he did when we toppled the statue of Enver Hoxha, Enver's volunteers came out and grabbed weapons and said we will declare Vlora a republic. Read, the Republic of the South with Vlora as its capital. The Vloraites came out, blocked the Mifoli bridge, and left them exhausted, barely able to enter Vlora. This will also happen to Edi Rama", declared Berisha.
